 CARDIO BLAST. 
What a great fun and yes, hard, workout but what better way to have started the Easter break.
And what's more, we raised $735 for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

We had a great day At FIT X: just a sensational platform to see the latest products and catch a glimpse of some of the most awesome physiques you'll ever see. There were some great events to witness, like the bench/dead lift comp and plenty of great seminars to attend. And best of all, catching up with old friends. Looking forward to next year.

In the wake of the terrible incident that occurred in Sydney Rd Brunswick recently, women of all ages are taking the opportunity to learn skills and behaviours the may give them a "fighting chance" if a dangerous situation arises.

Why do we need to exercise?

And do we really need to exercise?
Sometimes even the thought of it seems hard. The truth of the matter is that you'll be a healthier
person for it and not just in terms of cardiovascular fitness.
Exercise can assist with disease prevention.
As an active person,  you're less likely to develop cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and  osteoporosis, have a stroke or get certain types of cancers, such as colon or breast cancer.
Physical inactivity is ranked just behind cigarette smoking as a  cause of ill health.
A well-rounded program of physical activity includes aerobic exercise  - to improve your heart and lung fitness, as well as resistance training to increase muscle strength, endurance and power.  This combination offers many benefits:
